Fiona is a Registered Play Therapist and works as a Supervisor of international play therapy students. She has worked in various capacities with neurodivergent children, people with disabilities, chronic medical conditions, bereavement, trauma, and mental health concerns for 30 years in schools, hospitals, private homes, and as a Therapist in private practise.

 

Fiona's areas of interest include:

  • Assisting parents with understanding their children's behaviours and finding strategies to support them with parenting.

  • Medical trauma, needle phobia, and fears around medical intervention and procedures. 

  • Single incident trauma

  • Complex trauma

  • Autism 7 - 12yrs
